Adam and Elizabeth have to be the most adorable couple ever!!! I drove up to eastern Kentucky to their hometown to photograph their engagement session and we had a blast driving and romping around the country side. Adam and Elizabeth are both teachers. Adam teaches high school and Elizabeth is a special education teacher specializing in sign language.... did I mention how adorable they are..... We made a stop at their church where they had a small American Idol moment....

Yep it was cold out there.... somewhere around 33 degrees.... they were awesome!
Off to school we went... for some classroom fun and some one on one basketball...
And one last stop at Elizabeth's house to take a photo with her puppy dog Manny.... who played a major role in Adam's proposal...
So I turned 31 on monday and it snowed! Of course this is my first winter in Kentucky and so it was also the first time I had snow on my birthday....and I loved it. We celebrated my birthday on sunday and went to a Hibachi grill in Frankfort and the food was so yummy! Our Chef....

Sorry to have not posted anything in the past few months. I have had a lot of wonderful things happing though. First I want to announce my Engagement to a wonderful man named Bruce Carrier. Yes I am going to be Kara Carrier! So don't laugh to hard while you are getting tongue tide. He is a special ed teacher at an elementary school here in Lawrenceburg Ky. I am so very blessed!

I have been busy getting everything planned for our wedding in May and of course I still have a lot to do. I have been working on invitations and will be sending those out soon. My wonderful friend Melissa of Melissa Michelle Reflections will be my photographer! Can't wait to see you girl!

Marissa is beautiful, talented and a very smart young lady. We had a wonderful time at Waveland state park on the outskirts of Lexington. I had so much fun talking to her and finding out that she plays the violin and wants to go to medical school. Marissa I hope you have a wonderful senior year!
Jennifer and Sam will be welcoming their first baby in December. They are naming him Soloman Alexander. Congrats you two are going to be wonderful parents!
